I spotted Lisa Garza when I was out in Dallas this holiday season and it doesn’t seem like not being chosen as The Next Food Network star is hurting her – instead I think having the exposure that she did has left many of us wishing there were more shows available that featured someone with her style and culinary expertise.

Here’s to hoping we see more of this smart, talented woman in 2009!
